Raising the Gargoyles Up the Tower
Two 9 year old local schoolgirls who won the Warminster Journal Gargoyle Competion to design replacement gargoyles, proudly pose by the crafted stone gargoyles made from their designs, prior to them being hoisted up the Tower and set in place for all to see and for generations to come. The girls Ellie Hill (Avenue School) and Jessica Akers (Minster Primary) were chosen from more than 50 other entries and both were overjoyed , Well done girls !!
Journal editor & Chapel Feoffee Ray Shorto started and overseen the competition so a big thanks to him .
